Is Life Really Fair for us?

Personal Note: I wouldn't have put this here, but on the Rant board. However, this is something needs fighting, and no not one professional is got the BALLS, to change this.

So I lost an apartment, because a new law passed stopping the "Disabled to take normal apartments. Unless, they are seniors.
Let me tell you how things look:
1: Seniors can't take the accessible units, for senior and disabled buildings.
2: So if someone has back surgery, and is say 60'something, tough luck for you, while someone who ain't inn need of accessible units, is "Forced To Take One," and that takes from someone who is over 62 or so, who just had a stroke. I'm told to sit and take it, while you guys get when the senior has to accept lesser units, and take risks to fall.
My counselor says I just have to shut up and take it, like it's "The law," as she pointed out. I call FOWELL-Ball! Forgive my language, but I am angry!
So, we are just to shut up and take it? I see unfairness here.
And you can thank your lovely president for this throwing us away.s There's no other way to say it. He's a senior, and don't give a Thin Dime, because he's got money. Meanwhile, the rest of with disabilities suffer, because we are forced to be on programs, when we, r I, would do whatever it takes, to work.
This is a call to fight for what's right, so none of us end up in an inappropriate apartment.
IMO: It's ways to kill off the disabled.
I was forced to leave, because my life was threatened, by a tempermental idiot.
Tell me where the rights of the disabled stand now? Tell me why it's fair that this maneure is all that's left? We got people going through hell, and that's the kind with fire.
I'm a-gonna tell you the truth, here. I'm paying five-hundred and 45 dollars out of a $775 check. I'm supposed to get my bills paid, and get things needed by my household, consisting of me and a companion cat, who tells me when I'm sad, sick, and other dtuff.
But does the Donald care? Show me a Catholic bear, and I'll believe Trump cares.
And, I got no, and I mean no recourse to defend not only me, but others fighting like hell to get things better.
If I take a perfectly accessible unit, and Jane Doe has a stroke and can't get one, that's wrong, while Jane Doe, gets hauled off to a nursing home, where treatments suck, you never get pills on time, and they're just waiting for you to keel over.
If the affore mentioned JD had her own unit, she could get better.
Figures:
I have a choice. Have my self spoonfed by someone I can't understand, due to hearing loss, or pay extensive rent, and suffer, and sit here depressed as all hell is against me.
Well, in the past 4 years, the folks that do assistive living crap, are paying eight thousand or so, per month. Over the past 4 years, I've been able to keep funds "Under," "9000$s."
So being independent is costing uncle Scam less, than locking me away, where they take all I got, and charge themselves around 7000+, for someone to hand me the pills I don't need handed too me.
So forgive this, but how "Fucked up," is this stupid law?
And, one more thing: Now my balance is better, I've been living in an inaccessible unit. And my counselor thinks that it's all right that it is this way.
Oh, and while someone with a mental health challenge takes a unit meant for Grandma, is that fair, I say? NO!
Someone help me! Someone help me fight this. Mom didn't teach much, but not to give up, while my fucking counselor says "Give up."
Take this to the bank: I'd rather die, than give up. I do not quit!
Someone help!
Blessing in Christ, whom is more powerful than Trump,
Sarah Mad!

I also want to ad, I think, and have heard this is national. I'm going to check tomorrow. I'm close to finding a corner and begging. It worked in Jesus's time, so why not now? I got to get my bills paid, and thde government don't care.

I've not heard of this law. Is it new? Is it national? It sounds like a state thing. More information would be helpful.

Also, I believe you said on the public side the other day you'd just gotten your new unit? Correct me if I'm wrong?
Your current unit is accessible as well?

They took it away, because of this new law. It's a HUD thing, and I think it's national. Truthfully, I blame "The Donald," person.
They told me the next week, I couldn't have it. Before I could appeal, they gave it away. Last time I fought something, the manager of the low-income harassed me, and told all the tenants about it. I had to leave, because this guy named Chuck, threatened to: "Run her ass down." He meant with his car, too. So, I got the heck out of there.
That's what scares me. You can't fight anymore, because, the managers threaten you themselves, or through others.

So, just so I don't forget anything, I may also be having a problem with mold. The person that did the evaluation, said he's pretty sure I got a problem with it, but can't prove it. He's writing in his report, that's quite possible, that I'm being exposed to mold. This is my second mold problem. My first was with Seattle, and the specialist was able to get me moved from the premesis. Wonder if my local housing, can move me up on the list, for being poisoned by mold? Cause, that is what sensitive people who get overexposure feel like. No energy, fatigue that's not explainable, and more problems, including... Bladder infections, and this last one hit me in the kidney. So, that's what I'm dealing with.
Blessings,
Sarah

Assisted living cost eight thousand dollars? Where did you get that figure. I live in Illinois and have been checking moving to assisted living. Highest I've seen is four thousand dollars. PM me and I can give you 2 homes addresses here in Illinois for the blind. I went to one to look at it. Sharing a bathroom wasn't my thing. Or, maybe your counselor has another idea.

Where are you living now?
If you believe you have mode, you should contact your city, or state health inspector. They are independent of anyone, and will inspect your place for anything and everything to make sure it meets health codes.
If anyplace you live is subsidized, it must meet health code.
Try that.
How do you get a health inspector?
Call 211 or 311 and ask, or have someone call for you.

Hud housing has lots of restrictions. Frankly if you are in hud housing you shouldn't be paying anymore than a certain percentage of your check. Hud is a huge conglomeration of hoops and frankly you could likely find a studio apt cheaper. I myself pay $500 for a small studio. Now it is true rental rates are increasing but it largely depends what part of the country you live in. For example I can cite one individual I know personally who pays $350 for a one bedroom apt. But, he lives in Missouri which is probably the least likely place anyone would want to live. However, to ease the pain, you can collect a blindie pension check for an additional $700+. Catch: you cannot collect SSI to get this additional money. The individual I know makes 2 grand a month and does nothing but smoke pot and wine and wine and has everything handed to him. While I, on the other hand, can't get rental assistance because there's no money even though my complex accepts rental vouchers. Yet, a black guy can cry racism and get his rent paid for 4 months, which yes, actually happened. All while I am living on $753/month going forward assuming I do not get called for an interview for 2 positions I recently applied to. I have abount $100 left over after my bills on this budget to buy house hold necessities. So I'm basically broke as a joke. Clarification: not all apartments need to be in certified hud housing complexes, but, various complexes do accept housing vouchers. You should look into this, however, I would suggest that it probably wouldn't be worth you time because most places are 2 years or even up to 3 years out so it's essentially useless. This is why I never bothered with Hud. But if you are already in the system your experience may be less turbulent.

jesus christ, I only pay 103 for my rent and whatever my electric bill ends up
being that month. I've not lost my downstairs and upstairs apartment
because of this law. It must be state or something. I don't have HUD, I just
came into a low incomed home and applied to see if I qualified. I got in after a
month of signing up

Good Lord! $103? Where do you live?!
